Refunds

Last updated September 20, 2026

How refund reviews work and how to contact support. Subscriptions are purchased in the Windows desktop app; this page does not charge your card. The full contract is in the Terms of Service, section 8.

Do subscriptions renew automatically?

Yes. Paid plans renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. Canceling stops future charges. It does not refund a charge that has already been processed.

To cancel, use Settings → Manage subscription in the desktop app to open the billing portal. You may also email clipsparkco@gmail.com.

When am I eligible for a refund? (Individual plans)

Pro monthly and yearly use the same rules. You may qualify for a refund of your most recent subscription payment if both of these are true:

  • The charge was made within the last 14 days
  • You have not processed any videos in that billing period (usage is zero)

We will review your account. If eligible, we can cancel the subscription and refund that payment to the original payment method via Creem, usually within 5–10 business days.

Outside the 14-day window, or if you already processed a video in the period, that payment is generally not refundable and you are committed for the current billing period. You can still cancel to stop the next renewal.

This policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws (for example EEA/UK withdrawal rights for digital content).

Do I get a prorated refund when I upgrade my plan?

We currently sell Pro monthly and Pro yearly. Switching from monthly to yearly (or the reverse) mid-cycle does not automatically refund unused days. Unused quota is not paid out in cash.

If a charge looks duplicated or incorrect, email support with the billing details. We review it under the 14-day / unused rules above.

Can I get a prorated refund or credit if I downgrade mid-cycle?

No. We do not issue partial refunds for unused days after a period has started.

You can cancel renewal: that stops future charges and you keep paid access until the current period ends. A downgrade or cancellation by itself does not create a refund of the current charge. Refunds still follow the “within 14 days and no videos processed” rule.

Which details should I include in a refund request?

Email clipsparkco@gmail.com and include:

  • The Google email on your ClipSpark account
  • The charge amount and date
  • Invoice ID or receipt, if available
  • A short description of what looks incorrect

Is there a separate refund policy for Teams?

No. ClipSpark does not currently sell Teams or seat-based plans. Individual Pro follows this page.

Can I cancel even if I am requesting a refund?

Yes. Canceling only stops future renewals. You usually keep paid access until the current period ends. A refund request and a cancellation are separate; you can do both.

Are extra usage or on-demand charges refundable?

ClipSpark does not sell on-demand packs or overage fees. Pro quota is included in the subscription. Used quota is not cashed out. The only subscription refund described here is the most recent payment when both the 14-day window and zero videos processed apply.

What if I subscribed through the iOS app?

This does not apply. ClipSpark is Windows desktop only. We do not sell on the App Store and cannot process Apple in-app refunds.

What if I subscribed through the Android app?

This does not apply. There is no Android app and no Google Play billing.

I did not authorize this charge. What should I do?

Contact clipsparkco@gmail.com first. Include the amount, date, and the last four digits of the card if you have them. We will check account activity.

Please come to us first. Filing a chargeback with your bank can delay resolution and may affect your account while the dispute is under review.

What if we stop the paid service?

If we stop a paid feature other than because you breached the Terms, we refund the full amount of your most recent actual payment, or USD 20, whichever is greater, except where mandatory consumer law or checkout disclosures provide otherwise. If we terminate for serious breach, fraud, or infringement, fees already paid are generally not refundable except where the law requires.
